How Remembering Your Soul’s Language Unlocks Real Spiritual Connection

Most people grow up believing mediumship is something rare. Something reserved for people who were born with a special spark or who saw spirits standing at the end of their bed as kids. I used to believe that too. I thought mediums were chosen, and because I never felt chosen, I assumed whatever strange experiences I had were happening to me rather than coming from within me.

My entire life changed the moment I realised the truth.
You do not learn mediumship.
You remember it.

Everything you need to communicate with the Spirit already lives inside you. It always has.

This realisation only arrived because life cracked me open in a way I never expected. When I lost my dad, I was in Australia and he was in Europe. There was no final moment together. No goodbye. No closure. The grief was heavy, but something else happened in the middle of that pain. Something that woke me up from the inside out.

The Moment That Changed Everything

Growing up, I always experienced things I could not explain. Moments that felt strange but familiar. Nudges. Coincidences. Items that disappeared and then reappeared in places I had already searched. The sense that someone was standing beside me even though I could not see anyone there.

Back then, I believed those moments were happening to me because I was not gifted. I thought gifted people were born special, and I simply was not one of them.

Losing my dad shifted that belief completely. In that raw moment of grief, I had an experience that made me understand something that I had missed my whole life. All those strange moments were coming from within me. They were not random. They were not external. They were my soul communicating in the only way it could at the time.

That experience pulled me into a journey of asking a question that changed everything.
Who am I beneath every story I have ever been told about myself?

That question is the beginning of every awakening. It unravels the layers you have outgrown. It brings forgotten parts of you back into the light. It turns your attention inward, toward the truth that was always yours.

Why Mediumship Lives Inside All of Us

One of the biggest myths I love dismantling is the idea that mediumship is exclusive. Mediumship is not a club you join. It is not a talent reserved for a chosen few. It is a natural result of being a soul in a human body.

Mediumship is simply soul to soul communication.

It is the same instinct that tells you something is wrong with someone you love before they say a word. It is the moment you think of your grandmother and start seeing roses everywhere you go. It is the scent of cigarettes that fills the room when you think of someone who has passed.

People tell me these stories all the time.
“I felt someone sit beside me”
“I keep seeing the same sign everywhere”
“I smelled roses out of nowhere”

This is communication. This is a connection. This is a mediumship unfolding in everyday life.

The barrier is not ability.
The barrier is trust.

Many people do not trust what they receive because they have spent their entire lives looking for external permission. Trauma, conditioning, and old spiritual dogma taught them that connection must come from someone more powerful or more gifted.

But the truth is simple.
Your soul is the gift.
You are the channel.
The connection begins in you.

Healing Is the Heart of Mediumship

When I stepped fully into my path, I quickly saw something that no one had warned me about. Mediumship is not about performance. It is not about proving yourself with endless details. It is not about collecting evidence like a checklist. Evidence is beautiful and meaningful, yes, but it is not the driving purpose.

Mediumship is healing.

The deepest moments of my work have happened when I have sat with someone who is grieving and brought through the words they never got to say, the love they needed to hear, or the closure their heart was aching for. These are the moments that change people. These are the moments that allow someone to breathe again.

And this kind of work asks something of us as mediums.
It asks us to meet ourselves first.
It asks us to heal the parts of us we once abandoned.
It asks us to hold our own truth so deeply that we can hold someone else’s.

I was never taught that mediumship would take me into my own healing. But it did. Spirit led me straight into the parts of my life that needed to be seen, felt, and released. It helped me rebuild trust with myself. It helped me step into the person I was always meant to become. And once I did that, I could hold my clients with a depth I never knew was possible.

Why Old School Mediumship Created So Much Fear

When I first opened my abilities, I was told you could only be a medium if you were born one. If you were not born gifted, you would never be gifted. The belief placed mediums on pedestals and created a culture built on fear and scarcity. So many people were taught they had to sit in circles for years before they were “allowed” to trust Spirit.

This belief stopped people from stepping into their gifts.
It kept them waiting.
It kept them doubting.

And it kept them disconnected from their own power.

I do not blame anyone who taught this. It was the only model they knew. But I do not believe in gatekeeping. I do not believe in fear based teaching. I do not believe in hierarchy within the spirit world.

Spirit does not choose favourites.
Spirit does not withhold connection.
Spirit does not need you to suffer before you are worthy of communicating.

You are already connected.
You are already able.
You simply need to remember.

Direct Mediumship and Why I Teach It

One of the most transformative shifts in my own development came when I learned that I could go straight to the person my sitter wanted to hear from. I did not need to wait for whoever showed up first. I did not need to fear being wrong. I did not need to guess or hope or perform.

I could simply connect with intention.
I could trust Spirit to guide the way.

This changed everything.
It created deeper healing.
It created faster clarity.
It created stronger trust between the sitter, Spirit, and me.

This approach is one of the main reasons my students move into professional work within months rather than years. Modern mediumship honours the connection instead of the performance. It honours healing instead of hierarchy. It honours the soul instead of the ego.

You Are Already a Medium

The most important truth I want you to take from my conversation with Christine is this.
You are already a medium.

You already feel Spirit.
You already sense the nudges.
You already hear the whispers.

You are not learning a new language.
You are remembering the one your soul has spoken since the beginning.

If something in your life is stirring right now, trust that. Curiosity is never random. It is guidance. It is your soul pulling you closer to who you really are.

If you feel ready to explore your mediumship in a modern, grounded, heart led way, that is exactly what I teach inside the Modern Mediumship Academy. Not to turn you into a performer, but to help you step into the medium you already are.

Your connection is real.
Your soul remembers.
Your path with Spirit is already unfolding.

And you belong here.
